a.P.A.t.T. wears white, but the music is colourful.
2017 is to be a busy international year for the band, including the Rock in Opposition festival (FR) alongside Gong and Faust, touring the EU in April and September and the forthcoming re-release of Fun With Music in CD format with AltrOck (IT), with whom the band recently signed. The significance of the band's multi-media work has been recognised with an exciting two-year cultural partnership with Edge Hill University, featuring commissions with partners such as Sound City music festival (27 May).
In their 2016 album Fun with Music (Pickled Egg), 'Liverpool's multi-genre veterans' (The Skinny) a.P.A.t.T. have condensed their vision-quest into 45 minutes of hooky, style-busting material. The BBC's Stuart Maconie described it as... 'their most accessible yet...in a freaky kinda way'. BBC Radio 1 also awarded a.P.A.t.T. 'Album of the Week' for Black & White Mass (Pickled Egg).
The act's other records (5 albums, three EPs and a number of singles) have been released through Cargo, Upset the Rhythm, Pickled Egg, ! a N G R r ! and POSTMUSIC.
a.P.A.t.T. are working with Udi Koomran (Soft Machine, Ariel Pink, Present) on new forthcoming material to be released on AltrOck (IT) and Pickled Egg (UK)
